A behind-the-scenes image from the “Border 2” set was posted by Diljit’s team on Instagram, showcasing Ahan and Diljit in military attire, seemingly engaged in rehearsing or discussing a scene in an outdoor setting.
The caption read: “Dosanjh saab X Shetty saab… Just about 4 days to go for Border 2. Advance bookings open tomorrow (sic).”
In his Instagram stories, Ahan reflected on the physically demanding nature of the shoot, emphasizing that while the filming was incredibly enjoyable, the physical strain was felt soon after.
He expressed: “Had the best time shooting this, but the soreness the next day wasn't so great.”

It boasts a formidable production team, including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and is directed by Anurag Singh.

Ahan portrays Lt. Cdr. Joseph Pius Alfred Noronha, a courageous Indian Navy officer, amidst the 1971 conflict.
Last December, he mentioned that the uniform he dons in the film symbolizes much more than mere attire.
Ahan shared: “The love for the Border 2 poster is truly humbling. Wearing the uniform embodies a sense of responsibility, and I aimed for the look to mirror the integrity and discipline of a Navy officer.”
He added: “The support from the audience is incredibly meaningful, pushing me to give my utmost to the film. I hope viewers perceive that sincerity when they watch Border 2 in theaters.”
