Mumbai, Jan 1 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Ananya Panday appears to be gearing up to embrace the New Year in her unique way, opting for literature over celebrations. The actress posted a photo of herself delving into a new book, expressing her delight in starting to read on the ‘last day of the year’.

In her caption, she mentioned, “Something around starting a new book on the last day of the new year,” accompanied by heart, star, and pencil emoticons.

The snapshot captures Ananya’s hand holding an open book with a pencil tucked between the pages, framed against a stunning blue sky.

Recently, she starred in the film Tu Meri Main Tera, which premiered on December 25, garnering a modest response at the box office.

A few weeks prior, Ananya was elated after receiving high praise from the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

While promoting her movie on the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, she was touched by Big B’s compliments regarding her performance. Ananya shared a video in which Amitabh praised her acting skills.

The megastar noted her work in Kesari 2, stating, “I told her that the movie had many famous actors; everyone did a great job. While working with such legendary actors, Ananya performed her role very well. Her dialogues were limited, but the way she expressed through her eyes… We are all in the same profession; we are informed three months earlier, be it about our roles, dialogues, and everything else.”

Amitabh further added, “When it is time for the shoot, it should make our audience realise the importance of the situation or a particular scene. It should be realistic and delivered with ease. That’s where an actor will turn legendary. I felt that when I watched you.”

In sharing the video, Ananya wrote, “The biggest moment of any actor’s life – I will cherish your words forever, Amit Ji.”
