When questioned about Smriti Irani’s return to television, Anupama stated her excitement: “I heard about that—it was incredibly thrilling. After such a long time, someone has cast her again, reminiscent of what Ekta Kapoor did back in the day. I grew up watching Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and Kasauti. Even now, when I hear those theme songs, I feel emotional,” she shared.
The actress from ‘Jagriti - Ek Nayi Subah’ added, “I recently created a reel featuring the Kyunki song. I wish I could have been a part of that comeback, but I’m content with my current path. I genuinely hope Smriti ji’s new show becomes a blockbuster—it has a remarkable title and legacy.”
Regarding the potential return of the golden age of television, Anupama Solanki remarked, “Perhaps. We should always remain optimistic. That golden era possessed unparalleled emotion and connection. I would love to see it return. Ekta ma’am’s shows aren’t as prevalent now, but I sincerely hope this new one resonates with viewers.”
