Mumbai, Nov 26 (NationPress) - The wedding of Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and singer Palaash Muchhal has been the talk of the town for the past couple of days, accompanied by a whirlwind of events. The festivities came to an unexpected standstill when Smriti's father faced a serious health crisis during the celebrations.

This sudden incident ignited rampant speculation online, leading to various rumours that created a storm of controversy directed at Palaash Muchhal. He found himself under scrutiny, accused of infidelity towards Smriti, although no evidence has surfaced to substantiate these claims.

In a troubling twist, the singer was hospitalized in Mumbai after returning from the wedding venue in Sangli on Sunday, reportedly suffering from extreme exhaustion. Tensions escalated when Smriti and her family chose to delete all wedding-related posts from their social media platforms.

In light of these events, Palaash's cousin Neeti Tak has come forward to defend him on her social media. She stated, “Palaash is currently in a critical state. Please refrain from making judgments without knowing the full story… In this digital age, people should not form opinions based on mere rumours. Let us all pray for him.”

On November 25, Palaash’s sister, the well-known singer Palak Muchhal, urged for privacy, declaring, “Due to the health crisis of Smriti’s father, the wedding has been postponed. We ask for respect for both families during this delicate period.” Smriti and Palaash were initially set to marry on November 23.

Their pre-wedding events, from the haldi to the sangeet, had gone viral on social media. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent his congratulations to the couple ahead of their nuptials, wishing them the best for their future together.
