Thrissur (Kerala), Oct 14 (NationPress) Babu M. Palissery, a prominent leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and a two-time former representative in the Kerala Legislative Assembly from the Kunnamkulam constituency, sadly passed away on Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital.
He had been admitted two days earlier due to breathing difficulties and had been facing health issues for a considerable period.
Renowned for his engaging speeches and popularity, Palissery also ventured into the arts, participating in dramas and films, which earned him recognition beyond his political endeavors. His political career commenced in student politics, eventually leading him to head the DYFI wing in Thrissur district.
