New Delhi, July 14 (NationPress) On Monday, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta engaged with the members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) from the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly at the Vidhan Sabha premises, referring to the PAC and Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) as vital instruments for enforcing accountability.
“PAC and CAG serve as essential alerts for the government to take action and uphold accountability,” stated Speaker Gupta during the meeting with the Meghalaya delegation, which had traveled to Delhi following their study tour in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.
Welcoming the visiting members, the Speaker commended the committee’s dedication to fostering inter-legislative cooperation and sharing knowledge.
