Gandhinagar, Aug 11 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, visited the Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple, a site of profound historical importance located in Vadnagar, North Gujarat, on Monday. With a heart full of devotion, he offered prayers for the ongoing development and prosperity of both the nation and the state, as well as for the health, wealth, and peace of all its citizens.
The Hatkeshwar Temple is part of the Swadesh Darshan Yojana and the Heritage Circuit Project. The first phase of its development, costing Rs 18 crore, and the second phase, amounting to Rs 4.22 crore, both financed by the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board, have been successfully completed.
Upgrades include the sanctum sanctorum, assembly hall, temple spire, yajna hall, and a welcome centre. Moreover, the Gujarat Tourism Corporation has recently launched a light and sound show at the temple, which highlights its rich historical and mythological context, at an investment of Rs 5.53 crore.
The Chief Minister was joined by several dignitaries, including Health Minister Rishikesh Patel, Mehsana District Panchayat President Trishaben Patel, and other officials from Vadnagar city and taluka administration, as well as trustees of the Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple.
