Bengaluru, Nov 15 (NationPress) India has successfully moved into the semi-finals of the 2025 Women's T20 World Cup for the Blind following a dominant ten-wicket victory over the USA.

In just their sixth tournament match, India achieved their fourth win in a row, decisively outplaying the USA in what was both a historic and one-sided encounter.

This match marked a significant milestone for the USA Women's Blind Cricket Team, who made their World Cup debut. The team was formed over the past year through an exceptional developmental collaboration with Indian organizations that focused on identifying and training visually impaired cricketers across the United States.

When the USA chose to bat first, they battled valiantly but were restricted to just 60 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs, thanks to India's effective bowling and sharp fielding. Tatyana scored 17 runs off 41 balls (B2) and Caroline added 12 runs off 26 balls (B2), showcasing their resilience against a formidable bowling attack, even as wickets fell consistently.

India's bowlers, including Simranjeet Kour (B2), Sunita Srathe (B2), Simu Das (B1), and Ganga Kadam (B3), each contributed with a wicket, while their fielders executed multiple run-outs, displaying exceptional coordination across all categories.

In a remarkable display of batting prowess, India chased down the modest target of 61 runs in just 3.3 overs without losing a single wicket.
