Mumbai, Jan 18 (NationPress) Actress Ishita Dutta recently shared her joy as she prepared to reunite with her children after several days of being away for work commitments.
Posting a snapshot of her coffee break at the airport, she remarked, “Time truly doesn’t pass quickly when you’re away from your kids… Finally heading back! Can’t wait to hug my babies.”
Previously, Ishita, who was longing for her children during her work trip, took to social media to convey her emotions: “
Missing my babies so, so much… They, on the other hand, seem perfectly fine. Vaayu is only curious about my meals, while Vedaa is too young to even notice my absence.”
She further expressed, “I felt so anxious, constantly pondering how they would cope without me. However, I’m gradually understanding – children are far more resilient than we often realize. Perhaps this separation is tougher on mothers than on the kids. And that’s perfectly okay.”
The mother of two had previously revealed her struggles as a parent of young children.
Through a social media update, Ishita shared her feelings that many mothers might resonate with.
She noted that although she enjoys traveling, these days, whenever she leaves home, she deeply misses her children, as her heart remains with them.
In a heartfelt post, Ishita wrote, “I’ve always adored traveling, but now it feels bittersweet – because my heart stays behind with my kids. When I’m at home, I’m eager to go out and experience more. Yet, the moment I step out, all I want is to check in on them, looking at pictures, and missing them endlessly. (sic)”
For those unaware, Ishita and her husband, Vatsal Sheth, welcomed their second child in June 2025, a daughter named Veda.
They announced their joyful news on social media, sharing a photo of Ishita cradling the newborn, while Vatsal and their son Vaayu posed next to their baby girl.
“From two to four hearts beating as one. Our family is now complete. Blessed with a baby girl,” the post’s caption stated. They are also proud parents to their three-year-old son, Vaayu, born in 2023.
