Los Angeles, Nov 20 (NationPress) Kevin Jonas, the talented musician from the Jonas Brothers, has expressed that while he is a major admirer of 'Dancing with the Stars', he chooses not to participate in the competition.
The 38-year-old singer has received invitations to join the show multiple times but has consistently turned them down, according to 'Female First UK'. In a candid moment during an interview with InStyle, his brother Nick Jonas inquired, "They’ve asked you pretty much every season for the last 20 years, right?"
Kevin, who performs alongside Nick and Joe Jonas in the Jonas Brothers, replied, "For a long time, yes. I have declined. It's simply not for me. But I appreciate it. I’m a huge fan."
Despite his decision, Kevin has been keeping up with the current season of the show, stating, "I will say, we watch the show. It’s really enjoyable. I feel like it’s truly back. Dancing With the Stars is fully back."
Earlier this year, Nick shared that their family grew closer following their father’s cancer scare. Kevin Jonas Sr. was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2017 and has been in remission since 2018. Nick believes that this challenging health journey helped unite the family.
He shared with 'People' magazine, "The more emotionally challenging times really test your resilience. But our dad was incredibly brave throughout this process.” He added, “It was through such thoughtfulness that I think it helped us all greatly and provided the encouragement we needed while trying to support him. Everyone has their personal experiences during life's trials, and I’m thankful we emerged from it stronger and closer as a family."
