Chandigarh, July 27 (NationPress) Haryana's Minister for Energy, Transport, and Labour, Anil Vij, remarked on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi stands out as the first Prime Minister globally to consistently engage with citizens through his program 'Mann Ki Baat', while also presenting a vision for the nation.
He stated, "He narrates our history, our current situation, and our future direction."
Vij made these comments after tuning into the 124th episode of the Prime Minister's monthly radio show 'Mann Ki Baat', along with his colleagues and supporters at Booth No. 136 in Shastri Colony, Ambala Cantonment.
He noted, "In today's episode, the Prime Minister emphasized several significant points."
He discussed the sacrifice made by Khudiram Bose during the freedom struggle, the digital preservation of ancient manuscripts, and highlighted that true national progress is dependent on embracing local products.
He added, "By adopting, producing, and utilizing goods manufactured in our country, we will naturally aid in the nation's growth. The Prime Minister has advocated for 'Vocal for Local' to propel India forward."
Vij further mentioned that the Prime Minister addressed the topic of cleanliness in 'Mann Ki Baat', clarifying that achieving cleanliness goals requires collective participation.
Through this initiative, the Prime Minister outlines the progress the nation has achieved and the plans for the future.
Discussing the uniqueness of 'Mann Ki Baat', Vij asserted, "I believe there is no other program like this anywhere in the world."
PM Modi also commemorated the patriotism of Khudiram Bose during the broadcast.
Bose faced the death penalty during British rule in India for his involvement in the Muzaffarpur Conspiracy Case, which aimed at the assassination of a British judge.
PM Modi recounted, "Imagine, early morning in Muzaffarpur city of Bihar, the date — August 11, 1908… every street, every square, every movement seemed to have come to a halt. Tears were in the eyes of the people, but there was fire in their hearts. They surrounded the jail, where an 18-year-old youth was paying the ultimate price for his patriotism against the British."
