Hyderabad, June 15 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his warm birthday wishes to Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy.
“Heartfelt birthday wishes to Shri Kishan Reddy Garu. As a dedicated grassroots leader, he plays a pivotal role in enhancing the coal and mines sector, vital for fostering a self-reliant India. I pray for his long and healthy life,” the Prime Minister expressed via his message on ‘X’.
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, also sent birthday wishes to Kishan Reddy, who additionally serves as the president of the BJP’s Telangana unit.
The national president of the Telugu Desam Party, TDP, wished Kishan Reddy enduring health and happiness.
Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar also conveyed his birthday greetings to Kishan Reddy, expressing hopes for his continued service to the community.
BJP MPs, MLAs, and other party officials in Telangana have also joined in celebrating Kishan Reddy, who represents the Secunderabad constituency in Parliament.

As one of the senior leaders and prominent figures of the BJP in Telangana, Kishan Reddy is currently serving his second term as an MP from Secunderabad.
He was appointed to the Union Cabinet led by Narendra Modi in 2019 as Minister of State for Home. In July 2021, he was elevated to Cabinet rank and was assigned the portfolios of tourism, culture, and development of the northeastern region.
For five years, he was the sole Central minister representing Telangana.
Following the BJP's remarkable performance in the 2024 elections, doubling its Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, the party leadership recognized him by reinstating him in the Cabinet.
The 64-year-old successfully retained the Secunderabad seat, defeating his closest competitor, Danam Nagender from Congress, by a margin of approximately 50,000 votes.
