Chennai, July 12 (NationPress) Director Praveena Paruchuri, who is preparing for the release of her upcoming Telugu rural comedy drama 'Kothapallilo Okkapudu' on July 18, has expressed her admiration for the lighting crew, particularly their head Ramesh. She noted that they were incredibly supportive and effectively adapted to the techniques of the American cinematographer involved in the project.
During a media interaction, Praveena Paruchuri, renowned for producing the acclaimed film C/o Kancharapalem, stated, "This is my third film set against a rural backdrop. I aimed to make it distinctive and innovative, which I accomplished by enlisting a foreign cinematographer for this project."
She continued, "I wanted to convey my perspective on our villages. We filmed this narrative in a village with a foreign cinematographer, Petros Antonladis, based in Los Angeles."
The director went on to commend the Indian technicians who contributed to her film.
"The standout aspect was our lightmen, especially Lightman Head Ramesh, who was remarkable and highly supportive. Even though the American cinematographer's approach varied, Ramesh seamlessly adapted to his style and provided invaluable assistance," she remarked.
Praveena Paruchuri, who is also a practicing doctor in the US, shared, "When I made my first film C/o Kancharapalem, I thought it would be a one-time endeavor.
