Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Wednesday, 29 April, visited the Shree Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Campbell Bay, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, offering prayers and interacting with members of the local Sikh community to understand their concerns. The visit is reportedly part of a broader outreach to residents of the remote island territory.

Gurdwara Visit and Community Engagement

Gandhi spent time at the Shree Singh Sabha Gurdwara, one of the few Sikh places of worship in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He shared photographs and videos of his interactions across various locations in the archipelago on social media. The visit drew attention as it coincided with the final phase of polling in West Bengal, on the same day that Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.

Sharp Attack on Great Nicobar Development Project
