What directives did Raj CM give to officers for budgetary announcements?

Jaipur, May 13 (NationPress) Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has urged government officials to establish a timeline for the execution of every budgetary announcement, emphasizing that the state budget must focus on the holistic development of Rajasthan.

In support of the Shri Anna Yojana, the Chief Minister advocated for its inclusion in various government initiatives.

CM Sharma instructed the government officials to create a timeline for the realization of each budget announcement, insisting that projects must be completed within the designated timeframe.

He remarked, "With the vision of a Developed Rajasthan by 2047, our government has allocated resources for comprehensive development in each budget. We are consistently striving to empower the youth of our state by providing plentiful employment opportunities."

During a review meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence regarding the implementation of budget announcements for the fiscal year 2025-26, CM Sharma closely examined various announcements and provided essential guidance to the officials.

He stated that the BJP-led state government ensures continuous monitoring of the progress made on budgetary announcements so that the advantages of these schemes reach every individual at the grassroots level.

The Chief Minister expressed that the utmost priority of the state government is to provide employment opportunities for the youth.

In this context, recruitment for approximately 1.88 lakh government positions is currently underway, CM Sharma noted.

He further remarked that the state government is committed to facilitating accessible and high-quality public welfare schemes, especially in remote regions.

"In this regard, recruitment will soon be conducted for various positions, including personnel, patwaris, school teachers, and constables in the State Forest Department. The Personnel Department has already initiated advance action on this matter," the Chief Minister stated.

CM Sharma announced that a position for hospital manager will be established to enhance administrative management across all medical institutions, including medical colleges.

He emphasized the need for special training for doctors and nursing staff to improve their management skills.

He proposed that the Maa Yojana and Rajasthan Government Health Scheme portal be integrated into the Integrated Health Management System.

Additionally, he insisted that the work on e-health records should be accelerated through health camps organized across the state.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the Shri Anna Yojana should be incorporated into various state government programs to promote its utilization.

He stressed that, considering the nutritional value and benefits of the Shri Anna Yojana, these products should be trialed at mid-day meal centers to enhance children's nutrition and immunity.

He directed officials to utilize products made by women from self-help groups and Rajeevika at government events to not only promote these products but also boost their income.

CM Sharma also instructed the formation of a committee aimed at promoting the marketing, production, and visibility of the Shri Anna Yojana.

He advocated for a clear action plan for budgetary announcements to ensure their implementation within a specified timeframe.

Moreover, he insisted that departments compile progress reports for their budgetary announcements and conduct regular reviews.

CM Sharma emphasized that those departments showing insufficient progress should expedite their efforts.

The meeting revealed plans to introduce a Global Capacity Centre Policy aimed at creating job opportunities while boosting investment in the service sector.

Rajasthan's Trade Promotion Policy will be launched to foster development in the trading sector.

During the meeting, CM Sharma provided detailed guidelines on the advancement of various budgetary announcements, including the promotion of a circular economy, e-bus services, the proposed amnesty scheme, and the Rajasthan Vehicle Scrap Policy, along with expediting the connection of domestic consumers to piped gas supply.

CM Sharma reviewed the implementation of budgetary announcements across major departments such as Water Resources, Industry, Urban Development, Technical Education, Medical Education, Civil Aviation, Transport, Information Technology, Finance, Forest, Environment, Rural Development, Revenue, Self Government, Medical and Health, Personnel, School Education, and the Public Works Department.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and senior officials from various departments.
