Ravie Dubey Reflects on His Divine Journey as Lakshman: A Sign of Deity Guidance
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, February 27 (NationPress) Actor Ravie Dubey shared a remarkable coincidence on Friday, stating that nearly a year prior to his casting as Lord Lakshmana in Nitesh Tiwary’s ‘Ramayana’, he had serendipitously visited Shri Lakshman’s temple in Lucknow while filming for ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’.
Ravie took to Instagram, posting a nostalgic video of an interview he conducted with his wife, Sargun, discussing his role in the film starring Ranbir Kapoor.
In his caption, he recounted how, during the production of ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’, where he played a character named Lakhan, he stumbled upon Shri Lakshman’s temple in Lakshmanpuri completely by chance.
“Almost exactly a year before I was confirmed to portray ‘Lakshman’ in ‘Ramayana’, I coincidentally found myself at Shri Lakshman’s temple in Lakshmanpuri (Lucknow) while filming a show titled ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’ where I depicted a character named ‘Lakhan’,” wrote Ravie.
He described this experience as an “incredible synchronicity”, emphasizing his belief that such instances serve as reminders of divine orchestration.
“Incredible synchronicities and coincidences are just proof that our deities are orchestrating everything… All we need to do is surrender… not strategize… just surrender,” he concluded.
The anticipated film features a stellar cast, with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita.
Sunny Deol takes on the role of Lord Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan will portray Jatayu, and Lara Dutta is cast as Kaikeyi.
Renowned music composers Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman are collaborating on the film.
‘Ramayana’ is envisioned as a two-part live-action epic, reimagined on a grand scale, rivaling the largest productions to date.
The film will also feature top-tier Hollywood stunt directors Terry Notary (known for 'Avengers', 'Planet of the Apes') and Guy Norris ('Mad Max: Fury Road', 'Furiosa'), choreographing monumental battles between deities and demons.
Filming is being conducted for IMAX and is set for a global release, with Part 1 premiering during Diwali 2026 and Part 2 following in Diwali 2027.
