Mumbai, Dec 22 (NationPress) Acclaimed actor Shatrughan Sinha recently organized a gathering at his residence to celebrate a significant occasion. On Monday, he took to his X account, previously known as Twitter, to unveil a collection of photos from the event.
In the snapshots, he is seen alongside Subhash Ghai, his daughter Sonakshi Sinha, her spouse Zaheer Iqbal, and other notable guests.
He expressed, “It was a delightful evening just a few days ago when my family and close friends visited to meet, greet, and God bless me for my special day. My lifelong friend from FTII and mentor during my struggles, the legendary filmmaker @Subhashghai1, his gracious wife Rehana bhabhi, renowned filmmaker @rgsippy and his charming wife @kiranjoneja, dear family friends and co-founders of #ITA, #ShashiRanjan and his lovely wife #AnuRanjan, and filmmaker and scriptwriter #RumiJaffery with his wife, along with our dear friend, actress, and neighbor #AnjuMahendroo were all present.”
Earlier, Shatrughan Sinha paid tribute to the 'greatest showman' Raj Kapoor on his birth anniversary through a heartfelt social media post.
He referred to him as a significant source of inspiration, stating on his X account, “Forever in our hearts, thinking of you today, 'the greatest showman', the legendary and best #RajKapoor, a great source of inspiration for me always (sic).”
He also reminisced about their collaboration in the 1976 film 'Khaan Dost'. “Reflecting on our time working together in 'Khaan Dost', you are sorely missed. My deepest respects to the great Kapoor family. Long Live Raj Kapoor! #BirthAnniversary,” he added.
