Mumbai, March 21 (NationPress) On the occasion of her friend Rani Mukerji’s 47th birthday on Friday, actress Shilpa Shetty crafted a heartfelt message wishing her “great health, more spiritual journeys, and jagrans.”
Shilpa took to her Instagram stories, sharing a picture of herself with Rani, writing: “Dearest Rani, Wishing you love, happiness, great health, more spiritual trips... jagrans and may you always stay blessed (sic).”
On March 16, Shilpa shared a delightful highlight from her visit to Punjab, where she enjoyed the genuine taste of desi gud (jaggery).
In a video she posted, Shilpa could be heard exclaiming, “In Punjab, in the sugarcane fields... wow, fresh sugarcane and fresh jaggery. Can you believe this? And this is Gur Gur... oh wow, look at that, this jaggery is the real deal.”

Regarding Rani, she will feature in the third chapter of the “Mardaani” series, where she will reprise her role as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy.
In December, Rani announced that filming for Mardaani 3 is set to commence in April 2025.
She expressed that donning the police uniform is always special and that the character has only brought her love.

The script for “Mardaani 3” has been penned by Aayush Gupta, known for “The Railway Men.” It will be helmed by Abhiraj Minawala, who has also been mentored by YRF.
Minawala has lent his expertise to Aditya Chopra on films like “Band Baaja Baarat”, “Gunday”, “Sultan”, “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”, and “Tiger 3”, among others. He is currently the Associate Director of “War 2”.
