Patna, Nov 7 (NationPress) A political buzz emerged amidst the Bihar Assembly election campaign as Tej Pratap Yadav, President of the Janshakti Janata Dal, was spotted at the Patna airport alongside Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and actor Ravi Kishan.
Tej Pratap expressed to the media his commitment to backing anyone who contributes to the development of Bihar, while Ravi Kishan remarked that the BJP always welcomes those devoted to Lord Shiva.
Ravi Kishan highlighted that Tej Pratap is a kind-hearted individual and a fervent devotee of Lord Shiva. He stated, "In the BJP, everyone is a devotee of Shiva -- including our Prime Minister. The BJP's doors are open to those whose aim is service," he added.
"Both of us worship God, and since we met here, there’s no harm in appreciating each other," said Ravi Kishan.
Tej Pratap, however, played down the significance of their meeting, indicating it was their first encounter.
When questioned about potential post-election alliances in Bihar, Tej Pratap reaffirmed, "We will support whoever tackles unemployment and generates jobs. Since we both sport a tilak, what prevents us from complimenting one another?"
This interaction has sparked renewed speculation regarding a possible alliance between Tej Pratap and the NDA after the election results are announced in Bihar.
Tej Pratap Yadav, the eldest son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, who has distanced himself from the RJD leadership, is independently contesting the 2025 Bihar elections with his own party, Janshakti Janata Dal, from the Mahua Assembly constituency in Vaishali.
Previously, Tej Pratap had indicated he would support any coalition that forms the next government in Bihar, albeit with conditions.
Following his statements, political circles in Patna are buzzing with speculation about whether Janshakti Janata Dal could ally with the NDA if it regains power in the state.
This speculation intensified after he was seen with Ravi Kishan at the airport.
Both Ravi Kishan and Tej Pratap Yadav are actively campaigning for their respective parties' candidates in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
