Patna, Dec 11 (NationPress) A 21-year-old man named Rahul Kumar from Baswaria village, located under the Nautan police station in Bihar’s West Champaran district, tragically lost his life on Thursday following an alleged assault by a group of individuals.
After becoming unconscious due to the attack, Rahul was initially taken to GMCH and subsequently referred to Rahmania Hospital in Motihari, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. As the news of his death spread, a large number of villagers took to the streets later that evening.
Demonstrators blocked the Bettiah-Nautan main road at Baswaria using bamboo poles and setting up burning barricades, which halted traffic for nearly two hours. The situation remained tense until police from Nautan and surrounding areas arrived to persuade the crowd to disperse.
