These individuals will participate in a training program at the renowned Palampur Horticulture University and the Punjab Agricultural University located in Ludhiana, Punjab, focusing on state-of-the-art agricultural techniques.
This educational journey is designed to introduce farmers to cutting-edge horticultural practices that enhance productivity and profitability within their orchards and fields.
The ATMA scheme is dedicated to advancing the use of technology in agriculture and related sectors through comprehensive training, exposure visits, and the empowerment of farmers, equipping them to embrace innovative strategies for increased income.
This initiative has also sparked interest among the youth, with many young participants expressing a strong desire to acquire modern skills in horticulture. They believe that this training will not only improve their expertise but also pave the way for their self-sufficiency and a robust future in the horticultural industry.
