New Delhi, Sep 17 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is consistently interested in understanding the state of the economy and identifying ways to enhance private sector investments, stated Kumar Mangalam Birla, the Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group. Birla noted, "He is also a very attentive listener; if he poses a question, he listens carefully to your response and takes it in." This insight was shared in a nostalgic video released by the Aditya Birla Group to celebrate PM Modi's 75th birthday on Wednesday.
During the video, Kumar Mangalam Birla reminisced about his discussions with PM Modi, reflecting on India's economic advancement.
"One must be well-prepared before meeting him, for if you present incorrect information, he will quickly notice," Birla remarked.
In recounting his encounters with PM Modi, Birla observed that the Prime Minister's inquiries are insightful and pertinent, adding, "I sometimes sense he already knows the answer but seeks confirmation from me as an industry veteran."
Birla also shared a memorable gesture that deeply touched his family.
On one occasion, he was unable to attend the Vibrant Gujarat Summit due to his grandfather's 93rd birthday, for which he had to travel to Calcutta. He had sent a message expressing his regrets about missing the summit.
"To my surprise, he called my grandfather to extend birthday wishes, which was incredibly touching. He certainly didn’t have to do that," Birla expressed.
"I was astonished, my grandparents were completely surprised, and it left us with warm feelings towards him," he added.
PM Modi celebrates his 75th birthday today. Born in Mehsana, Gujarat, on September 17, 1950, he served as Chief Minister for three consecutive terms from 2001 to 2014.
