In other news, Samsung Electronics unveiled its Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition, featuring enhancements aimed at enriching the experience for athletes during the upcoming Winter Olympics in Italy.
This device will be distributed to approximately 3,800 athletes from 90 countries participating in the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics, commencing on February 6, as stated by the South Korean tech giant.
The new Galaxy Z Flip edition showcases a design that captures the cultural essence of Italian azure and the spirit of unity and sportsmanship characteristic of the Olympic Games, according to the company.
"The custom gold metal frame symbolizes the athletes' quest for excellence and memorable moments on the podium, as well as our brand's commitment to achieving the highest standards," it added.
Athletes will benefit from a range of advanced features on the device to facilitate communication with fellow participants, including an interpretation app and the Galaxy Athlete Card, which enables easy profile sharing.
Additionally, Samsung Electronics will host a "Victory Selfie" event, where medalists will capture selfies on the podium.
Professional photographers will also utilize the Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone during the event to photograph about 490 athletes who have consented.
