Hyderabad, Nov 27 (NationPress) The state of Telangana is set to undergo a transformation by being segmented into three distinct zones as part of the government's ambitious plan to achieve a $3 trillion economy by the year 2047.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy convened a review meeting on the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document, which is slated for unveiling at the upcoming Telangana Rising global summit next month.

He instructed officials to finalize a roadmap aimed at reaching a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

In order to propel the state towards significant development, the Chief Minister mandated the division of Telangana into three key regions.

The three regions will focus on the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE), Peri Urban Region Economy (PURE), and Rural Agriculture Region Economy (RARE). These developments will be emphasized in the vision document while ensuring there is no policy paralysis within the state. Plans should be finalized with a practical outlook, he stated.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the Vision 2047 should be crafted with the aim of fostering a sustainable future over the next 22 years and ensuring equal opportunities for all.

The government is currently working on the Bharat Future City, where the global summit will take place on December 8 and 9.

The summit's primary purpose is to present the vast investment possibilities in Telangana to global investors and showcase the advantages of investing in the state during this two-day event.

Scheduled in the Future City, the summit will delineate opportunities for industrial growth across various sectors and announce the incentives offered by the government.

The Telangana Rising Vision 2047 document will prioritize equitable growth, women's empowerment, youth empowerment, and sustainable development. This vision aims to position Telangana as the fastest-growing economic hub in India.

The government is eager to highlight the abundant opportunities present in Telangana, despite its smaller size, as it strives to compete with not only neighboring states but also countries like China and Japan in terms of development, according to CM Revanth Reddy.

Key sectors identified for economic growth over the next two decades include pharmaceuticals, life sciences, aerospace, quantum technology, artificial intelligence (AI), startups, MSMEs, tourism, and exports.

With transparent governance, ease of doing business, and the establishment of global capacity centres (GCCs), the Telangana government is already positioning the state as the prime destination for investors. The vision document will leverage these strengths to attract further investments.

The agriculture sector will also receive significant attention in the vision document to double farmers' incomes and fortify the rural economy.

To realize the goal of a “Blue & Green Hyderabad” in the Telangana 2047 document, the Chief Minister stated that the government aims to rejuvenate 2,959 ponds, parks, and diminishing forest areas.

The vision document will prioritize the “Village 2.0” initiative, which aims to provide safe drinking water, clean roads, and solar-powered lights in rural areas.

Moreover, the creation of modern transport infrastructure is a key goal, including the development of the Regional Ring Road akin to the Outer Ring Road, high-speed mobility corridors, a Regional Ring Rail, four industrial corridors, and 11 radial roads. New airports are also planned in Warangal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Peddapalli, and Kothagudem as part of a comprehensive new transport ecosystem.

A state-of-the-art highway connecting Hyderabad (Future City) to Bandar Port in Andhra Pradesh is anticipated to be a transformative factor for connectivity.

Present at the meeting were Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Azharuddin, Seethakka, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, and other senior officials.
