Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman conveyed her warmest wishes to the Indian Women’s Team for clinching their inaugural ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
“This is a momentous achievement that highlights their talent, dedication, and teamwork. The country is immensely proud of your accomplishment,” she shared on the X social media platform.
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri remarked that “Blue has triumphed in the Women's World Cup 2025 final with a commanding victory at the Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.”
