New Delhi, Oct 18 (NationPress) The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, announced on Saturday that the forthcoming Emerging Science, Technology, and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC-2025) will serve as a platform for young innovators, startups, and researchers to present their cutting-edge solutions, seek mentorship, and engage with industry and stakeholders.
This flagship event, ESTIC-2025, is scheduled to unite the country’s leading scientific minds, innovators, and policymakers from November 3-5 in the national capital.
The minister emphasized the incorporation of pivotal frontier technologies, such as semiconductors, AI, quantum computing, biotech, space, and clean energy.
The program will feature keynote speeches from global experts and Nobel Laureates, thematic technical discussions with S&T leaders, women entrepreneurs, and deep-tech startup CEOs, and on-the-ground showcases highlighting disruptive innovations, including exhibitions by deep-tech startups and a poster forum for young scientists, faculty, and engineers.
“ESTIC unites India's scientific community, industry, and startups on a single platform to transform ideas into tangible impacts. By harmonizing efforts across ministries and aligning with national priorities, the conclave enhances translation pathways from research labs to market scale,” stated Professor Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the government.
Through eleven thematic sessions and high-level panels, ESTIC-2025 will outline a detailed roadmap for Viksit Bharat 2047, facilitated by a comprehensive governmental approach, according to Professor Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology (DST).
Designed as an outcome-driven forum, ESTIC-2025 celebrates contributions from stakeholders while encouraging collaborations among researchers, entrepreneurs, industry, and funding institutions.
The conclave’s discussions and showcases are organized to pinpoint actionable next steps and measurable follow-ups, ensuring that momentum persists beyond the three-day event.
As an outcome-focused forum, the event aspires to expedite the journey from lab to market for disruptive innovations, according to the minister.
