Mumbai, Jan 11 (NationPress) Aaman Devgan is set to make his Bollywood debut in Abhishekh Kapoor's highly anticipated action-adventure drama Azaad. For his role as a village youth, the actor has engaged in rigorous training.

In preparation for his character, Aaman Devgan developed a strong connection with a horse, as his role required him to perform horse riding. He dedicated significant time to bonding with the horse, which included sharing meals, sleeping beside it in its stable, and even taking care of its needs.

Even after completing the shooting of Azaad, Aaman continues to spend time with the horse, further enhancing their affectionate relationship.

Aaman Devgan discussed the demanding training he underwent for his debut project, stating, "I have a deep love for horses, and upon reading the script, I felt a strong pull towards this role. I devoted my time to understanding Azaad—his moods, routine, and body language—to portray him authentically on screen. Before the filming began, I spent time with Azaad, sharing meals and sleeping in his stable for over 10 days during the shoot. I even tended to his needs to create a sense of comfort and trust between us. This experience has been incredibly enriching, teaching me so much about horses. Beyond horse riding, my time with Azaad has made performing my scenes feel effortless."

Azaad highlights the profound bond between Aaman and the horse, showcasing how the animal becomes his most devoted companion.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, this action-packed film will also serve as the Bollywood debut for Rashe Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon. The film also features Ajay Devgn, Aaman Devgan, and Diana Penty in key roles.

Azaad is set to release in theaters on January 17, 2025.
