Chennai, Dec 2 (NationPress) The acclaimed Malayalam actor Vinayakan, known for his role in the Mammootty film 'Kalamkaval', has officially announced his participation in the highly anticipated Tamil movie 'Jailer 2', directed by Nelson and starring the legendary Rajinikanth.
In a recent interview, Vinayakan confirmed his involvement in 'Jailer 2', which has generated immense buzz, especially after his commendable performance in the first installment of the 'Jailer' series.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth returned to Chennai from Goa on Tuesday, where he was busy filming 'Jailer 2'.
Excitement around 'Jailer 2' has surged as reports suggest that Vijay Sethupathi has joined the cast in Goa, with filming of his segments currently underway. Additionally, Mohanlal is also expected to join the production shortly.
However, there has not yet been an official announcement regarding Vijay Sethupathi's role in the movie.
Earlier this year, Rajinikanth mentioned that production for 'Jailer 2' would continue until December.
