Ahsaas Channa Discusses Her Intricate Role in 'Mismatched 3'

Mumbai, Dec 14 (NationPress) Actress Ahsaas Channa recently opened up about her role in 'Mismatched 3', expressing that she has never portrayed a character this intricate. She remarked, “My character in Mismatched was introduced last season, but it’s only in this season that you discover more about her. You learn about her background, her interests, and her identity as a person,” she elaborated.
She continued, “You will see more of Anmol and Vinny as a couple, showcasing their romantic relationship because at its heart, Mismatched focuses on the romantic endeavors of these youthful characters.”
When asked how this role differs from her previous ones, she responded, “This is indeed a departure from what I have done in the past. She isn’t a super confident individual who has her life figured out; however, she is very aware and has a strong moral compass.”
“I have never played a character like this who is so complex.”
In response to whether she thinks the web series might be following a predictable pattern and needs a refresh, the actress mentioned, “I’m too young to provide a definitive answer to that.”
Ahsaas added, “Indeed, I have tackled many young adult themes on OTT, yet each has been diverse and explored various topics.”
“Honestly, I don’t perceive any pattern currently, but then again, I’m too young to comment. There’s still a long path ahead and much more for me to accomplish.”
Regarding the recognition actors in web series receive compared to their film and television counterparts, Ahsaas stated, “I haven’t pondered on it too deeply. Our film and TV actors tend to be more widely recognized, and that’s due to their larger fan base. The OTT platform is considerably newer than the others. Nevertheless, I don’t believe there’s any clear division between the mediums at this moment. Film actors are engaging in OTT projects, and OTT actors are transitioning into films.”
However, she acknowledges that “the lines are becoming increasingly blurred.”
“Ultimately, we should all share a common objective, which is to create quality content for the audience. The recognition will come naturally if the content is exceptional and the performances remarkable.”
