Mumbai, Oct 1 (NationPress) On this celebratory day of Shubh Maha Navami, the renowned Bollywood duo Ajay Devgn and Kajol have set forth on an exciting new professional venture.

At the vibrant Durga Puja festivities held at the Mumbai Sarbojanin Durga pandal, the couple proudly announced the rebranding of Ajay's production company, previously known as Devgn Films, now reimagined as Devgn Cinex.

Kajol took to her Instagram to share two snapshots from the celebrations. The first photo features Ajay and Kajol displaying a sign with their production's new name, followed by a heartwarming family portrait taken during the Durga Puja.

In her post, Kajol wrote, "A fresh name, with an enduring passion for cinema, presenting Devgn Cine X."

For those unaware, Ajay recently produced his wife Kajol's mythological film, 'Maa', where she portrayed a devoted mother overcoming challenges to safeguard her child.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, Kajol praised Ajay’s meticulous involvement as a producer.

She described him as an exceptionally talented producer, stating, "He is a truly exceptional producer, very hands-on. From scripting to visual effects and music, he has been deeply involved in every aspect, ensuring everything runs smoothly, even the marketing. So yes, he is a really excellent producer."

'Maa' marked Kajol's return to the big screen after a significant hiatus of three years; her previous appearance was in the 2022 film 'Salaam Venky'.

Directed by Vishal Furia, 'Maa' features a talented cast including Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjyasikha Das, Yaaneea Bharadwaj, Roopkatha Chakraborty, and Kherin Sharma, among others.

Ajay and Kajol have shared the screen in numerous successful films, such as 'Hulchul', 'Gundaraj', 'Ishq', 'Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha', 'Dil Kya Karein', 'Raju Chacha', 'You Me Aur Hum', 'Toonpur Ka Superhero', and 'Tanhaji'.
