Mumbai, April 10 (NationPress) Renowned Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar shared fond memories of his early career alongside fellow actor Parmeet Sethi, looking back on their journey from struggling artists to stardom.

In a lively conversation with Archana Puran Singh, who was a guest on Akshay's show, he reminisced about their days spent waiting outside the legendary filmmaker Subhash Ghai's office, where they would often cross paths, both striving for success in the industry.

Reflecting on this nostalgic period, Akshay said, “Did you know that your husband and I struggled together?”

He continued, “I still remember when he and I went to Subhash Ghai's office to seek opportunities.”

“At that time, we used to talk about how we couldn’t find work, how challenging it was. Those were tough yet memorable times,” he added.

Archana chimed in, noting that they eventually collaborated in the blockbuster film Dhadkan.

The episode also featured Rajkummar Rao, Archana Puran Singh, and Sanya Malhotra.

During a game segment, Akshay humorously confessed to hearing rumors about Archana stealing a bathrobe from a hotel during one of her shows.

He confessed, “In my childhood, I used to take money from my mom to buy bulbs, but instead, I would keep the money in my pocket. I remember there was a hotel in Juhu (I can't name it), where I would secretly take bulbs from the elevator.”

“I took fabric and two bulbs home, feeling quite pleased with myself while keeping the money in my pocket. I admit to this honestly,” he stated.

Discussing the film Dhadkan, which also starred Shilpa Shetty, Sunil Shetty, and Mahima Chaudhary, Akshay highlighted that the movie, released in 1999, remains cherished for its engaging storyline and memorable songs.
