In the film, Anil portrayed Kamal Mehra, a business magnate, while Rahul took on the role of his son-in-law, Manav Sangha.

Recently, on May 19, Anil celebrated 41 years of a joyful marriage with his wife Sunita.

He shared a series of photos on social media showcasing their journey from youth to now. The collection also included cherished memories of his late mother, Nirmal Kapoor, who passed away earlier this month.

In a heartfelt message to Sunita on their anniversary, Anil expressed, “41 years of marriage, 52 years of togetherness — and not a single day goes by when I don’t feel grateful for you, Sunita. From the very start, you have been more than just my partner — you have been my support system, my constant, and the one who has stood by me through every chapter of life.”

Recognizing Sunita’s unwavering support for his late mother, he added, “You were there for Mum in ways I could never be — caring for her, standing by her, and loving her as if she were your own, especially during the times I was away working, which has been almost every day of my life.
