Mumbai, Jan 1 (NationPress) In the midst of New Year resolutions and vision boards, Anshula Kapoor, the sister of actor Arjun Kapoor, encouraged everyone to take a moment to breathe and extend kindness and compassion to themselves and others.
She highlighted that January often prompts many to reflect on their lives, leading to the realization that they may not have everything figured out just yet.
Anshula shared on her Instagram, "As we enter the new year, my feed is filled with goals and vision boards, which is wonderful. However, January can make people feel like they’re falling behind before they even start. If you’re feeling like your life isn't in order, take a moment to pause."
She urged individuals to treat themselves with the same empathy they would offer a friend who is feeling overwhelmed.
"If a friend approached you with the thoughts you're currently having, you wouldn't judge them. You would soften your tone, encourage them to breathe, and remind them they are not broken, behind, or failing," Anshula emphasized.
The contestant from 'The Traitors' also reminded us all to "extend that same kindness to yourself and redirect that compassion inward. Not every year requires a dramatic transformation. Not every January needs a detailed master plan."
Anshula expressed that sometimes, the most courageous thing one can do is simply show up as their true self and be gentler with oneself.
Having celebrated her birthday on December 29, Anshula expressed her gratitude for the wonderful birthday wishes she received.
She wrote, "Another year older, a bit wiser, and feeling very blessed. Thank you for all the birthday love and wishes. I’m stepping into the next chapter with gratitude and cake."
Anshula also shared moments from her birthday celebration with her brother Arjun Kapoor, sister Khushi Kapoor, fiancé Rohan Thakkar, and other family members.
