'All We Imagine as Light' explores the lives of two Malayali nurses in Mumbai. One is Prabha, a disciplined woman longing for her missing husband, while the other is her lively roommate Anu, who finds herself in a forbidden romance.

Prior to its OTT release, Payal Kapadia’s 'All We Imagine As Light' made history by being the first Indian film in three decades to compete in the main category at the Cannes Film Festival, where it was awarded the 'Grand Prix' honor.

Additionally, it received nominations for the Golden Globe Awards in two categories: 'Best Motion Picture' (Non-English Language) and 'Best Director'. Payal is the third Asian woman nominated in the 'Best Director' category.

Moreover, 'All We Imagine As Light' was also nominated in the 'Best Foreign Language Film' category at the Critics Choice Awards.
