Chennai, Nov 12 (NationPress) The creators of director Sam Anton's much-anticipated psychological thriller 'UNKILL_123', starring the acclaimed Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap alongside actress Sangitha, have revealed that the film navigates the theme of fame and its repercussions.

According to insider information, this production, backed by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh through his company Vels Film International Limited, promises to be a captivating psychological thriller that delves into how the quest for online fame can drastically alter an individual's life and mindset.

Producer Ishari K. Ganesh stated, “We have seen influencers rise to stardom via social media. Yet, few discuss the emotional toll that fame takes—loneliness, constant comparisons, and psychological stress lurking behind the glitz. 'UNKILL_123' presents a narrative that reflects both the allure and the agony of contemporary fame culture.”

Under the direction of Sam Anton, who co-wrote the screenplay with Savari Muthu, 'UNKILL_123' showcases Anurag Kashyap in a compelling lead role, with Sangitha taking on a significant part.

The plot chronicles the ascent and decline of an ordinary individual who transforms into a social media influencer, where their aspirations for fame spiral into an obsession. It poignantly illustrates how the relentless pursuit of popularity can evoke emotional distress, isolation, and a fractured sense of self, reflecting the darker aspects of our digital age. The film vividly portrays the pervasive impact of social media on daily life and the hidden struggles behind curated images, where validation, jealousy, and insecurity intersect.

With cinematography by Krishnan Vasant and a soundtrack composed by Jerard Felix, the film's art direction is handled by Sowndar Nallasamy, with editing by Naash.
