Earlier on 27 May, social media platforms were flooded with unverified claims that Arjun Das was set to get engaged later in the week in a private ceremony restricted to close family and friends. The speculation quickly snowballed, with rumour mills further suggesting that any forthcoming wedding would also be a low-key, closed affair. The actor's team has since categorically rejected all such claims.
