Mumbai, Feb 18 (NationPress) Actor Ashutosh Rana, who has been garnering significant acclaim for his theatre performance in ‘Humaare Ram’, has voiced his support for the emerging talents in the film industry, emphasizing that learning on the job is equally valid as traditional education.

In his role as Lankesh in ‘Humaare Ram’, produced by Felicity Theatre, Ashutosh engaged with IANS about the nuances of voice modulation.

A graduate of NSD, he holds theatre close to his heart, blending his theatrical experiences into his cinematic roles. His exceptional command over voice and language distinguishes him as one of the leading figures in Indian cinema.

He remarked, “I hail from the theatre. I began my journey after acquiring knowledge, while some learn through practice. Learning is crucial. When the quality of learning is outstanding, one can be confident that their performance will resonate with viewers, as the character belongs to the audience once they witness it. It transcends the realms of the writer, actor, or director.”

He believes that every performer strives for excellence, and it’s the audience's interpretation that varies.

He elaborated, “Some individuals’ efforts leave a mark on you, while others may not. It’s often claimed that young talents are not focused. In reality, they are attentive to their audience. If their efforts did not resonate with you, it doesn’t imply a lack of effort. Perhaps the impact was minimal, but their dedication remains undeniable.”

“Thus, we may feel they are not genuinely engaged in their work, when in fact they are fully committed,” he added.
