Bengaluru, Oct 9 (NationPress) Kannada Superstar Kichcha Sudeep, who is the host of the reality series 'Bigg Boss', expressed his gratitude towards Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar for his prompt intervention regarding the sealing of the studio where this season's episodes are being filmed, affirming that BBK 12 is indeed "here to stay".
In response to a social media update by Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, who had announced that he instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Bengaluru South District to remove the seal on the Jollywood studio in Bidadi, where Bigg Boss Kannada is being recorded, Kichcha Sudeep remarked, "I sincerely thank Hon. @DKShivakumar sir for the timely support. I also extend my appreciation to the authorities for recognizing that #BBK was neither involved nor part of the recent disturbances. I truly value the DCM for his swift response to my call, and I thank #Nalpad for his committed efforts. #BBK12 is here to stay."
Previously, the Deputy Chief Minister had posted on X, stating, "I have directed the Deputy Commissioner of Bengaluru South District to lift the seal on Jollywood premises in Bidadi, where Bigg Boss Kannada is filmed. Environmental compliance remains a top priority; thus, the studio will be given time to rectify violations according to the guidelines established by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board. I am dedicated to supporting the Kannada entertainment industry while also ensuring environmental protection. #BiggBossKannada."
It is important to remember that local authorities sealed off the Jollywood Studios and Adventures on Tuesday night, leading to a temporary halt of the Big Boss reality show being filmed there.
All contestants of Bigg Boss were instructed to vacate the house and were escorted outside the premises.
This decision by the authorities came following the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) issuing immediate closure orders for the Big Boss Kannada studio due to non-compliance with regulations and operation without necessary permissions.
