Mumbai, January 26 (NationPress) - Actress Debinna Bonnerjee recently took to her social media platforms to showcase a heartwarming video of her two young daughters joyfully singing the national anthem on Republic Day, elegantly attired in Nauvaari sarees.

The actress expressed that despite feeling profoundly fatigued and wishing to remain in bed, she decided to “show up” for her little ones.

In her post, Debinna shared a delightful video capturing the moment as her children celebrated Republic Day in their community.

She noted, “Today wasn’t planned… it unfolded”

Initially, she had intended to simply dress her daughters in plain white with a Tiranga dupatta, but unexpectedly transitioned to kashta sarees – one in orange and another in green.

Debinna added, “Then suddenly, it became the National Anthem… sung on stage… because that’s the one song they know by heart, no fear of forgetting lines, only courage to try.”

She described the day filled with surprises, stating “But when I wrap today up in my mind, what stays with me is this – it was a holiday. I wanted to stay in bed. I wanted “me time.” And yet, I chose to go down. Because if I don’t show up for these days… how will they learn to?”

In closing her message, Debinna wished everyone a “Happy Republic Day”, sharing her pride as a mother raising two little citizens.

Previously, she reflected on the importance of teaching children through observation, especially by watching their parents.

On her social media, she also posted a video of herself preparing for a shoot, showcasing her busy schedule while her husband Gurmeet Choudhary and their daughter made an adorable appearance.

Debinna shared, “Getting ready in the vanity. Layers of glam, quiet focus. And then she walks in. One of those days. No school. So, she comes along with me. She sits there, watching. Between mirrors, makeup, and conversations. I pick her up, she settles in. As if this space was always meant for both of us.”

She further added, “Her father joins us for a moment. A kiss. A pause. And as we step out, I notice something. She’s wearing gloves too. Just like mine. Maybe this is how it begins. Not by teaching. But by letting them watch.”

Debinna explained that her daughter was on set with her due to a school holiday and humorously remarked on how her daughter mimicked her by wearing a pair of netted gloves.

For context, Gurmeet and Debinna welcomed their first child, a daughter, in April 2022 through surrogacy, followed by their second daughter in November 2022.
