Mumbai, Oct 20 (NationPress) – Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, recently seen portraying a goddess in the TV series 'Chhatti Maiya Ki Bitiya', shares a profound connection with Chhati Maiya. Speaking to IANS during Chhat Pooja, she reflected on the importance of Chhati Maiya and her character in the mythological series.
During her interview, Devoleena disclosed that she found out about her pregnancy while filming the show. She mentioned, "I discovered my good news on set while shooting for Chhatti Maiya. I continued filming up until my 7th month, making my experience on the show incredibly memorable."
She elaborated on Chhat Pooja, stating, “I wasn’t aware that Chhatti Maiya was celebrated for children. Although I knew it was a tradition in Bihar, I learned so much more while working on the show, and now I feel a deep connection to it.” In her conversation, she also paid tribute to the legendary singer Sharda Sinha, who passed away last year, saying, “I adore her songs; they have a deeply emotional impact.”
