As per hospital insiders, the esteemed actor was released earlier today, and an ambulance was seen departing from Dharmendra’s residence. However, his family has remained quiet regarding his current health status. Recent reports indicate that the ‘Sholay’ star has returned home for ongoing treatment.
On Wednesday, Bobby Deol was noted leaving Breach Candy Hospital around 7 a.m., closely followed by a speeding ambulance. He was seen arriving home alongside the vehicle. It has been reported that the Juhu area near Dharmendra’s home is currently under heavy police watch.
The 89-year-old actor was admitted for medical observation and was placed in the ICU on November 10. His wife, Hema Malini, and daughter, Esha Deol, confirmed that he was stable and on the mend. Esha stated, “My father is stable & recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery. (sic).”
Meanwhile, Hema Malini took to social media to vehemently deny false reports regarding Dharmendra’s death, labeling them as “unforgivable” and “highly irresponsible.” She expressed, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”
On November 11, Sunny Deol’s team provided a health update, revealing that he is recovering well and responding positively to treatment. They encouraged everyone to keep him in their thoughts for continued health and longevity. “Sir is recovering and responding to treatment. Let’s all pray for his good health and long life.”
