Mumbai, Oct 31 (NationPress) The iconic Bollywood legend Dharmendra is presently hospitalized. As reported by sources affiliated with IANS, the actor has been receiving treatment for several days and is under meticulous medical supervision by esteemed doctors at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.

The precise reason for his hospitalization remains uncertain; however, insiders indicate that he initially visited the hospital for a routine check-up and has since been undergoing further tests. There is currently no information regarding his discharge date. His sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, have adjusted their schedules to be with their father during this challenging time.

The beloved actor is set to mark his 90th birthday this December. Earlier this year, in April, Dharmendra successfully underwent cataract surgery. Professionally, he was last featured in the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in 2024, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He is also anticipated to appear in the forthcoming film 'Ikkis', directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sriram Raghavan. This war drama is based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra.

The movie also includes prominent roles from Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikandar Kher, with a release scheduled for December. Recently, the trailer for Ikkis was unveiled. Sunny Deol, Dharmendra's elder son, expressed his excitement about his father's continued work at this age, sharing the trailer on his social media.
