She shared a video on her Instagram, discussing the challenges they face while filming on the railway tracks, where the railway crossing frequently closes, interrupting their shoot.
During her conversation, the director was playfully making horns behind her, and when she turned to him, he instantly resumed his serious demeanor, as if nothing occurred.
In her social media post, Divya wrote, "My Director @umesh_shukla_official .. indeed he was the most Chatur on our sets as you can see in the BTS (Laughing emoji). With #EkChaturNaar, he delivers a film brimming with humor, quirkiness, thrill, suspense, and entertainment (Snake emoji)".
Expressing her gratitude to the filmmaker for casting her, she noted, "I can’t thank you enough, sir, for this opportunity and for envisioning me in this comically layered, complex character (Folded hands and love hands emojis) #12Sept".
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Divya shared that working with her co-star, Neil Nitin Mukesh, was more enjoyable on-screen than off-screen. She humorously mentioned that she loved teasing him during their scenes.
She stated, "It's always work, work, work. But on screen, it was incredibly fun because it was about the snake and the mongoose. I had the time of my life bullying him".
Written by Himanshu Tripathi, "Ek Chatur Naar" is set in a quirky small-town Indian backdrop, following the story of a seemingly charming woman whose naivety conceals her sharp intellect. Ambitious and crafty, she skillfully outsmarts everyone around her.
Presented by T-Series, ‘Ek Chatur Naar’ will hit theaters on September 12.
