Mumbai, Aug 15 (NationPress) Actress Divyanka Tripathi celebrates Independence Day in her own unique way, which includes working out, watching the parade, flag hoisting, and indulging in samosa-Jalebi.
The 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' star shared glimpses of her day on social media, showcasing photos of herself practicing yoga and mingling with women in uniform.
Conveying her thoughts on freedom, Divyanka stated on her official Instagram: "Freedom is- the ability to peacefully work out at your pleasure, observe enthusiastic children in tiranga outfits after flag hoisting, watch security personnel display their parade, and relish Samosa-Jalebi, a cherished Independence Day treat with the patriotic crowd!"
"Independence is a state that our Indian forces fiercely protect, allowing us to live freely. My day was fantastic, how about yours? Happy Independence Day!" she concluded.
Earlier, during the Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, Divyanka and her husband Vivek Dahiya visited the Combat Army Aviation Training School in Nashik.
While there, they engaged in meaningful discussions with Colonel Jaskar Choudhary.
Divyanka posted a series of images from their visit on Instagram, stating that the soldiers exemplify what true service entails.
“Our experience at the Combat Army Aviation Training School in Nashik was profound, a place where valour is instilled, not merely spoken of. Heartfelt conversations with our friend, an acting officer- Col Jaskar Choudhary, left us in awe of the dedication it takes to serve,” she wrote.
“From following pure passion to giving up comfort for the nation, these soldiers teach us the essence of true service,” Divyanka remarked.
She also mentioned that at one time, she aspired to wear the uniform.
“I once dreamed of donning the uniform… perhaps one day I’ll portray it on screen. But today, I lived it through their narratives. A nostalgia for a life I never experienced, and a pride that I will always hold dear.”
"Let’s aim to be citizens deserving of their sacrifices. To those who gave everything - we remember, we salute. Jai Hind. #KargilVijayDiwas," Divyanka concluded.
