Mumbai, March 6 (NationPress) Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has shared insights into her experience of choreographing Salman Khan after an extended hiatus.
After several years apart, Farah expressed her enthusiasm for collaborating with Khan on the track ‘Zohra Jabeen’ from his forthcoming film “Sikandar.”
Discussing the making of ‘Zohra Jabeen’, Farah stated, “My journey with both Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala spans a long time. One is a childhood friend and the other is like a brother! I have worked on numerous songs with both, and choreographing Zohra Jabeen was incredibly special. I was confident the song would be a hit, and it was a delight to choreograph Salman after such a long interval. Collaborating with Rashmika for the first time was a joy—she was very easy to work with.”
On March 4, the film’s team released the upbeat song Zohra Jabeen, showcasing Salman’s impressive dance moves and his captivating chemistry with Mandanna. The renowned choreographer shared the song on her Instagram, expressing how enjoyable it was to choreograph both Salman and Rashmika. In her caption, Farah wrote, “Had an absolute blast choreographing @beingsalmanKhan & @rashmika_mandanna for #sikandar.”
The song, composed by Pritam, features vocals by Nakash Aziz and Dev Negi, with lyrics crafted by Sameer and Danish Sabri. Speaking about the track, Dev expressed, “Every singer aspires to lend their voice to a song that resonates with the audience, and ‘Zohra Jabeen’ is precisely that. I feel honored to be the voice behind it. Knowing this is my third song for Salman sir makes it even more meaningful.”
Meanwhile, “Sikandar” signifies Salman Khan’s much-anticipated return to cinemas after over a year. The actor’s last appearance was in the action-packed film Tiger 3 in 2023. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar boasts a star-studded cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.
This film also marks the reunion of the Sultan actor with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, following their successful partnership on the blockbuster Kick in 2014.
“Sikandar” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 31, aligning with Eid al-Fitr.
