Mumbai, Nov 12 (NationPress) Actor Farman Haider, who portrays Shivaay in the television series 'Jagadhatri', revealed that this role gave him the opportunity to embody an IPS officer, a career he has always aspired to.

The series unfolds a captivating narrative of duality, resilience, and the untapped potential of women. Farman plays the confidant to the main character, who masks his struggles with humor and charisma. Their bond illustrates a powerful story of friendship, equality, and unvoiced strength. Farman disclosed his feelings on portraying Shivaay and how he is currently fulfilling his childhood aspiration of being an IPS officer through this character.

Regarding his role, Farman stated, “Becoming an IPS officer was a dream of mine since childhood. However, acting was meant to be my path, and now I’m able to experience that dream on-screen through my character in Jagadhatri. Playing Shivaay has been a deeply rewarding experience; it allows me to showcase the discipline and resolve of an IPS officer while navigating profound emotions.”

The cast also includes Sayantani Ghosh as Maya Deshmukh, a formidable media magnate whose strong will and complex emotions enrich the storyline. Set against a backdrop of strength and self-discovery, it portrays a woman leading a dual existence, a subdued daughter at home, and a courageous undercover officer known as Agent JD when her duty calls. Sonakshi Batra plays the titular role, embodying this intricate transformation with both power and grace.
