Mumbai, Dec 7 (NationPress) Actress Genelia Deshmukh shared a touching birthday tribute for her mother, celebrating her special day on Sunday.

Posting a delightful picture of herself embracing her mother on Instagram, Genelia remarked that her mother appears to grow even more fabulous with each passing year, a trait she hopes to inherit.

In her heartfelt birthday message, she expressed, "My Dearest Mumma, Look at you - just seem to be getting even more fabulous every year And I truly hope it’s in the genes - for my sake at least (sic)."

The 'Sitare Zameen Par' star also expressed gratitude to her mother for being the heart of every celebration.

"Thank you for being the essence of our family, the spirit of every gathering, and even the life of your grandchildren's parties. One thing is certain, I could never navigate life without you (Green heart emoji)," she wrote.

Conveying her deep love for her mother, Genelia added, "I love you Mumma - I may not say it enough but I wholeheartedly mean it (Green heart emoji) Happy Birthday Mumma. Have a fabulous day."

On the professional front, Genelia is set to appear alongside Manoj Bajpayee in Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming horror-comedy 'Police Station Mein Bhoot'.

Talking about her upcoming project, Genelia shared that she had a "scarily good time" collaborating with Bajpayee in this much-anticipated film.

Expressing her excitement on Instagram, she noted, "First time stepping into a world where fear meets fun. Had a scarily good time sharing the screen with @bajpayee.manoj in POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT, directed by the maverick @RGVzoomin (sic)."
