‘Glory’ Teaser Unveils High-Stakes Thriller About Olympic Hope's Murder
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, April 7 (NationPress) The highly anticipated teaser for the upcoming streaming series ‘Glory’ was released on Tuesday. This teaser hints at a gripping tale steeped in revenge, ambition, a murder mystery, and a dysfunctional family dynamic.
Set within the intense and unforgiving realm of boxing, the series explores a brutal environment, starting with the enigmatic death of Nihal Singh, India's promising contender for an Olympic boxing medal. The cast includes Divyenndu, Pulkit Samrat, Suvinder Vicky, Jannat Zubair, Ashutosh Rana, Sikandar Kher, Kunal Thakur, Sayani Gupta, Yashpal Sharma, and Kashmira Pardeshi.
Reflecting on his role, Divyenndu expressed, "What captivated me about Glory was the authenticity of this world. Here, triumph is rooted in anger and deeply personal struggles, rather than mere pride. Although Dev isn’t a fighter in the ring, the circumstances surrounding him mold his character, making him inherently unpredictable. This role has been one of my most complex portrayals. He is fierce and impetuous, experiencing love and hatred with equal passion. Despite the pain he carries, there's also a sense of restraint. Remarkably, he retains a sense of humor that reflects his cultural grounding. Collaborating with Karan Anshuman for the second time was remarkable; he inspires you to step out of your comfort zone and confront challenging aspects of your character."
Both Dev and Ravi are portrayed as emotionally rich characters confronting life-altering challenges. Their paths are fraught with difficulty, as the pursuit of glory demands much.
Pulkit Samrat commented, "The authenticity of Glory drew me in; the world depicted is harsh and unyielding, which adds to its beauty—every victory is significant, and every effort is hard-earned. Ravi is composed on the surface, but beneath lies a passionate fire. The balance between control and breaking down is where true strength emerges. Portraying him reminded me that greatness comes from resilience, showing up time after time, even through pain, because champions are defined by what they survive. I’m thankful for this experience, and this is just a sneak peek."
Conceived by Karan Anshuman and Karmanya Ahuja, and produced by Mohit Shah and Anshuman under the Atomic Films banner, the series features writing from Anshuman, Ahuja, and Vaibhav Vishal, with direction by Karan Anshuman and Kanishk Varma.
‘Glory’ is scheduled to stream on May 1, 2026.
