Mumbai, Nov 12 (NationPress) Bollywood actor Govinda is currently receiving treatment at CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, where he is undergoing various medical examinations after being referred to a neurologist.
His manager, Shashi Sinha, disclosed to IANS that they are awaiting the results, and the actor is being closely monitored by medical professionals. In a statement regarding Govinda's condition, Sinha mentioned, “He experienced a severe headache and a sensation of heaviness in his head. He also felt dizzy, which led to the recommendation of seeing a neurologist. Doctors are currently conducting evaluations. He was admitted last night, and a doctor will be examining him shortly.”
Govinda was swiftly taken to CritiCare Hospital after he reportedly lost consciousness at his home in the early morning hours. The actor’s friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, confirmed this information to IANS. According to him, Govinda had initially received medication following a phone consultation with a doctor but was later transported to the hospital around 1 a.m. for urgent medical attention.
Lalit also informed us that the veteran actor was taken to the hospital after he became unconscious at his residence.
Interestingly, Govinda was admitted to the hospital just a day after visiting veteran actor Dharmendra, who is recuperating at Breach Candy Hospital. In a video that has surfaced online, the ‘Raja Babu’ star was seen leaving the hospital.
This marks the second time in a year that the actor has been hospitalized. Last October, he was admitted to the same hospital following an accident where he injured his leg with a licensed revolver. The Hero No. 1 actor sustained a knee wound and underwent an hour-long surgery in the ICU to safely remove the bullet.
Reports indicate that Govinda was readying for a trip to Kolkata when he accidentally discharged his revolver while returning it to the cupboard.
