Los Angeles, Dec 10 (NationPress) Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed that her daughter Apple Martin has a crush on actor Jacob Elordi.
During an interview with the 28-year-old actor, Paltrow, aged 53, conveyed her daughter’s admiration directly, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
In a special segment for ‘Variety’, she mentioned that both her daughter, aged 21, and her son, Moses Martin, 19, are big fans of Elordi.
She expressed, "It’s wonderful to be here chatting with you. My kids are somewhat envious. My son idolizes you, while my daughter has fallen for you. I might too, by the end of this conversation.”
Elordi responded to the Marty Supreme star, stating, "That’s the common feedback I receive. Everyone mentions, 'Oh, my mom loves you. My daughter loves you. My girlfriend loves you.’ It’s never, 'I love you.'”
"I love you, Jacob,” Paltrow retorted, adding that she first noticed Elordi's talent in HBO's ‘Euphoria’, despite her children advising her against watching it. Nevertheless, she appreciated his performance.
According to ‘People’, Elordi has become a new darling of Hollywood, gaining recognition from audiences of a similar age as Paltrow's children through his work in Netflix's romantic comedy series ‘The Kissing Booth’, which paved the way for his fame in HBO's ‘Euphoria’. Notably, he also portrayed Elvis Presley in the 2023 film ‘Priscilla’ and is set to star as The Creature in Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of Frankenstein.
Paltrow, who shares her two kids with ex-partner Chris Martin, will appear in a film for the first time since 2019's ‘Avengers: Endgame’ with ‘Marty Supreme’. In this movie, she acts alongside Timothee Chalamet, depicting a retired Hollywood actress named Kay Stone, set in the 1950s.
Recently, the Oscar-winning actress disclosed her children's reactions to photos of her and Chalamet, aged 29, sharing a kiss in New York City's Central Park while filming scenes for ‘Marty Supreme’ in October 2024.
